The day started out at the Hampton Inn Hotel as Danyel and her bridesmaids and daughter curled their hair and lined their eyes. The air was a bit crisp as we left the hotel for the ceremony site at a nearby park beach in Holland, Michigan. The bridesmaids were barefoot with hand-crocheted "sandals" as they walked down the sandy aisle followed by the beautiful tattooed bride. The ceremony was so so cold, but everyone in attendance fought against the chilly wind to hear Justin and Danyel recite their personal, handwritten vows to each other and there was even a few tears as Justin embraced Danyel's daughter. So much love surrounded this fun couple as they took sand from beneath their feet and placed it into the sand ceremony bottle.

The newly married husband and wife shared a kiss and a wish that all family and friends present would take up a stone and cast it into Lake Michigan for good luck and as a symbol of well wishes for the marriage. After some quick portraits on the beach with Danyel and Justin, and taking a second to document her very personal tribute to her late father on her bouquet, we all ran back to the heaters in our cars and headed for the docks where The Holland Princess awaited this wedding party's arrival.

As the sun began to set, this wedding celebration continued into the night as they softly drifted along the coast, enjoyed cake, and began the next chapter in their love story.
