Brittni and Jason's urban downtown wedding was full of glamour and romance! I loved the bride's wedding day look and her fit and flare gown was so beautiful. The romantic lace detail that covered the bodice paired nicely with flirty ruffled train and the crystal hair piece added a glamorous finishing touch to her floor length veil. Brittni and Jason shared an emotional first look before their ceremony, which took place in the grand foyer of the 1920s historic building, 30 North Saginaw. I love that these two were able to step away from their guests for a few minutes right before sunset and I was able to capture these romantic portraits right in the city!

With my own limited availability, it's not often that I work as a secondary photographer. However, when my friend and fellow girl boss, Alora, contacted me to help her photograph this wedding day, I thought it would be fun to get outside of my routine as a primary photographer and work with her for the day! I was so happy to have the opportunity to work alongside one of my industry peers, Alora Rachelle Photography this past summer because it's a great way to keep my artistry fresh. As a secondary photographer, I am also able to challenge myself and talk through new ideas with another creative, which is awesome! It was such a joy to photograph these moments for this sweet couple and to hang out with Alora for the day.

I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from Brittni + Jason's Wedding day!

The bouquets are such a stunning addition to this wedding day, arranged with soft, romantic colors and texture! I feel like the pops of red also added a glamorous contrast to the rest of the pale pink and white flowers.

One of my favorite moments of the day was when Brittni's mom helped her prepare to see Jason! The getting ready room had so much historic character and there was a big, beautiful window letting in lots of natural light - which is a MUST in the bride's getting ready suite!

Ah! I just love this split second glance where Brittni catches her Mom's eye as she helps fasten her earring.

Above is an amazing candid moment as Brittni's bridesmaids help her down the stairs! She looks so graceful as she makes her way to see Jason for the first time as his bride.

Aren't these flowers gorgeous?! Brittni did a great job at selecting her wedding colors and these bouquets were basically the only flowers at this minimalistic wedding day.

Brittni and Jason's ceremony took place in the grand ballroom of the 1920s historic building, 30 North Saginaw. It has iconic marble details as well as 35' coffered gold-leaf ceiling that you can't help but look up at! All this historic charm lent itself perfectly to their modern style wedding and because it is so stunning, minimal decor needed to be brought into the space.

Brittni fended off a few tears as she saw her father in the last few minutes leading up to the ceremony. All of their friends and family were speechless as Brittni walked down the aisle towards Jason, and I loved capturing the joy on their faces as Brittni and Jason recited their marriage vows!

They sealed their commitment with a kiss and then they jumped the broom to the sound of applause and joyful laughter!

I love that these two were able to step away from their guests for a few minutes right before sunset and that we were able to capture these romantic portraits right in the city!

You can tell by the way Jason looks at Brittni that he feels like the luckiest guy ever to have such a beautiful wife!

Brittni and Jason danced their way into the wedding reception and shared their first official dance as husband and wife surrounded by all the historical charm and candlelight!

The sophisticated architectural details made such a stunning backdrop and all of these things blended perfectly to create a minimal, modern wedding fit for a glamorous bride!
