Jordan + Grant’s Wedding at
the Detroit Athletic Club
Jordan and Grant's wedding day will always hold a special place in my heart, not only because this couple is so adorable (see photos with their dog, Monty!), but their wedding was the first after MY wedding in August! It's hard to believe it, but my excitement for not only Jordan and Grant but for all my CCP Couples doubled after being a bride myself!
Jordan got ready for her wedding day surrounded by family and her bridesmaids who all wore a lovely shade of blush. Grant, like most grooms, had a pretty laid-back morning from what I gathered with his groomsmen, who all wore dashing navy suits, while they prepared for the wedding ceremony.
The whole wedding took place in Downtown Detroit (my favorite!) at the historic Detroit Athletic Club. Jordan made her entrance on her Dad's arm and as a Scottish bagpiper played. Which was a complete surprise to her Mom and guests! Scott and I also had a bagpiper at our wedding so hearing the pipes and seeing Jordan walk towards Grant made me a little teary for her and as I remembered my own walk down the aisle!
After some amazing dances and toasts to the new Mr. & Mrs., I took the newlyweds up for an end of the night shot on the roof of the DAC, which has an incredible city view! (Make sure you scroll all the way to the end to see those epic shots!)
Jordan and Grant, Scott and I can’t thank you enough for being so warm and easy-going with us on your wedding day! We not only loved being your photographers, but we truly felt welcomed in as friends on your special day! We wish you both nothing but many more years of love, laughter, and adventures together!
