Autumn Apple Orchard Engagement: Ericka + Michael
On a warm night, while walking the streets of Savannah, Georgia, Michael silently pondered just the right moment to reach into his pocket and propose to Ericka, the beautiful woman walking beside him. While his mind was focused on timing, Ericka's was none the wiser and ready to try some of the delicious food they'd been hearing so much about. Michael had to rethink his timing for the moment and the next evening, as the sun began to set over the big, draping branches of the Spanish Moss, he planned a private carriage ride around the city.
As the horse and carriage clattered along the historic streets, Ericka said, "I feel like a princess!," and then the carriage came to a stop along side a fountain. After tossing a penny into the fountain Mike asked, "Do you think your wish came true?," and Ericka replied, "I don't know yet." Mike then dropped to one knee and pulled out a ring and asked, "How about now?" and proposed to Ericka.
I think Mike nailed it with that one!
What could be more fall than an engagement session in the middle of an orchard?! Ericka did such an amazing job excitedly preparing for her and Michael's engagement session in Bucyrus, Ohio. She told me that she had a vision of them being themselves while incorporating storytelling details using things that would portray the types of activities her and Mike like to do together - like spending time in the country, snuggling up with some hot chocolate, and playing a competitive game of catch! When she brought out the idea of popping some celebratory champagne too, my creative side was so pumped to capture Ericka + Mike's autumn apple orchard engagement session!
Ericka and Mike, I had so much fun with you both during your engagement and if it is anything like your wedding day, I know great things are in store! Congrats again!
Love Always,
