Romantic Charleston Wedding at William Aiken House: Jenni + Stevn

The love between Jenni and Stevn is so apparent in everything they do. Just watching them together is magnetizing. He would brush hairs out of her face or help her with her shoes and she would ruffle his hair or lean into his embrace. Their love for one another is so real and I feel so honored to have been able to capture it (on not only one opportunity but three - a romantic engagement, charming southern wedding, and awesome after the wedding day portraits) all in the beautiful destination that is Charleston, South Carolina!

Tears overflowed from Jenni's eyes as she read the sweet words written to her by her soon-to-be husband, Stevn, in the hand-written letter delivered to her door on the morning of the wedding. Included with this note was a pair of sparkling, red soled, Louis Vuitton slippers; a pair of shoes that would make Cinderella or Carrie Bradshaw jump up and down!

Supported by her fathers comforting arms, Jenni walked down the aisle to Stevn as the sun twinkled through the stained glass windows of Grace Episcopal Church. At the reception fresh blooms of pink and white overflowed from every surface and behind flickering candles, pictures of Jenni and Stevn as youngsters as well as pictures of their grandparents' wedding days adorned mantles. The newlyweds and their family and friends danced the night away beneath outdoor string lights and chandeliers at the historic William Aiken House before their sparkler send off.

Jenni + Stevn, I hope you guys had an awesome time in Italy and your destination wedding adventure will always hold a special place in my heart and be a constant reminder of why I am a photographer.
