One cool thing about the state of Michigan is that there is virtually every landscape you could ever want as a backdrop for your wedding; urban cities, historic mansions, wide open countryside, picturesque vineyards, secluded lakes, evergreen forests, snow covered hills, vibrant fall colors, and hometown churches. . . .

On the morning of Alana and Kyle's fall wedding day at Waldenwoods Resort in Hartland, MI, Alana was all smiles as she stepped into her vintage lace wedding gown with the help of her sisters, bridesmaids, and her mom. All the girls were laughing and joking as they helped Alana with her earrings, out of her quirky, cat-in-outer-space socks and into her Badgley Mischka shoes, and even spritzing her perfume before she walked across the property to share a first look with her groom-to-be Kyle! . . .

Coral & Navy Waterfront Wedding, Waldenwoods, MI: Anna + Michael

Anna and Michael's wedding day in Hartland, MI began with bright sunshine and not one cloud in the sky. Anna prepared to marry Michael in the bridal suite of Waldenwoods Resort while Michael put on his navy suit and fastened his bow tie along side his groomsmen in a charming, almost southern style, house on the property called the Sunshine Lodge (which was so fitting for the beautiful weather!).
