Jen + Kyle | Downtown Northville Fall Engagement

When Jen, Kyle, and I all sat down for their initial consultation to discuss their wedding I knew we were going to be a perfect match! Jen is so easy to talk to and I could tell Kyle loves listening to what she has to say! Jen and Kyle told me that they originally met through Match.com, and they joked saying everything just "clicked" from there (aren't they cute?!).

For Jen and Kyle's engagement session they decided that Downtown Northville would be the perfect backdrop for their photos because they loved the historic homes and the old Ford Valve Plant with its water mill (plus it's where they first said the three magic little words, "I love you" to one another). The evening of their engagement session was PERFECT for Jen and Kyle! The temperature was comfortable, the fall colors were just starting to emerge, and the dreamy light right before sunset was magical! Near the end of the shoot, Jen and Kyle's adorable dog Nala even tagged along for some super cute photos!

Jen and Kyle were so laid-back the entire time it felt more like I was hanging out with a couple of awesome new friends! One fun fact that I learned about Jen while we walked around is that she has been to Walt Disney World over 40 times and to Disneyland over 100 times!! I am so jealous, but I have to admit she had the benefit of living only 20 minutes away from Disney for 8 years.

Jen and Kyle - I want to thank you again for having me along as your engagement photographer! I feel so honored and blessed to have gotten to know you both better and I can't wait until your wedding day next year! Congratulations again!
