Dramatic Downtown Detroit Sunset Engagement: Jennifer + Patrick
There is something energetic about living downtown in a big city. There is a pace that makes you want to wake up in the morning and just get moving towards your dreams and goals. Living in downtown Detroit has proven to be a fun and exciting time for Jenny and Pat. They really enjoy working and exploring the motor city together.
During Jenny and Pat's engagement session on Belle Isle and along the Detroit River Walk, I loved hearing about their life together in the city and seeing how both of their personalities seemed to complement the other's. Pat would pull Jenny in close and whisper something or make a funny face and Jenny would light up with laughter! As they strolled along taking in the Detroit skyline, they decided to toast to their engagement with a couple of drinks. How fun, right!?
It truly was the "golden hour", the most ideal time for portraits, for Jenny and Pat as the sun slowly set, casting beautiful, soft light upon them and exposing breathtaking oranges and pinks in the sky.
Jenny + Pat I had so much fun exploring the city with you at your engagement and I can't wait until your wedding next year! Congratulations again!
