Romantic Fall Engagement in the Country, Davisburg, MI: Emily + Taelor
Their eyes met from across the bar. Beneath the bare Edison light bulbs and with the raucous crowd and rustic exposed wood in the background, Emily and Taelor met. Officially they both went to the same high school so it wasn't technically their first time seeing each other, but it did make for a very special meet cute as they say in the movies.
Some of Emily and Taelor's favorite things to do together include being outdoors, going for walks, and traveling and when Taelor suggested that he and Emily go to the park close to their home one afternoon, Emily thought nothing of it. Although this particular afternoon marked an important milestone for the couple as the anniversary of the first time they said, "I love you.," the day seemed pretty ordinary as they walked around the Shiawassee Basin Preserve in Davisburg, MI. Taelor eventually stopped Emily at a scenic overlook, which featured a breathtaking view of the river which snaked through the basin below. Taelor handed Emily a photo album of their time together and on the very last page it was blank with a space titled, "Our Engagement Photo" and before Emily could fully put the pieces together, Taelor was down on one knee and proposed!
I spent the evening with Emily and Taelor at the Shiawassee Basin Preserve for their romantic fall engagement session and the beautiful fall colors in the trees were amazing! Emily and Taelor are so sweet and they were just great to talk to as we hiked through the tall grass chasing the golden light of the setting sun.
Emily + Taelor, I seriously had sososo much fun with you both at your engagement session and am so excited for your wedding day next year! Congrats again!
Love Always,
Courtney Carolyn
