Allie + Jason’s Wedding Day in

Ann Arbor, MI at The Valley at Frutig Farms

This is Allie and Jason’s wedding day, and they were living out their best Titanic life at their wedding reception! I have never seen a dance floor more energetic or more joyful than Allie and Jason’s!! (Make sure you scroll all the way to the end to see their killer dance moves and some special end of the night magic we created together!)

Throughout the whole of their big day, Allie and Jason incorporated so many personal and unique touches! Their beautiful, rustic wedding took place at The Valley at Frutig Farms in Ann Arbor, MI and the weather was absolutely perfect. The first unique and personal detail I discovered was the hops hidden in Allie's bridal bouquet and incorporated into Jason’s boutonniere! Jason and Allie both love breweries and it was so fitting that they tied that part of their relationship into their wedding flowers! One of the other super personal elements to their wedding day was the fact that Allie's brother was the one who actually married them! After Allie and Jason shared an adorable first look, Allie walked down the aisle on her Dad’s arm towards Jason and I couldn’t help but notice her brother and her bridesmaids getting emotional as she walked to the alter.⠀

Jason's humor kept us all laughing throughout the day and I was able to capture so many portraits of these two just being goofy and carefree. Another one of my favorite moments was when Allie and Jason shared an epic kiss as they made their grand entrance into the reception! It was one of those technical moments that was a challenge for me as a photographer - I had to balance the bright, outdoor exposure where Allie and Jason were, with the dark, indoor exposure where the doors opened and make a balanced, well lit scene - but it totally paid off and that moment became a favorite of mine from their day!

Allie + Jason, I can not tell you enough how truly wonderful and amazing you both are! I love to connect with my CCP Couples as more than just their wedding photographer and it couldn’t be more true with you both! I felt like throughout our whole experience together I kept finding out how many things we have in common and I sincerely look forward to staying in touch with you as you continue in the next chapter! I wish you both nothing but lots of laughter, love, and many more amazing adventures together!
