Emily & Jordan’s Rustic, Whimsical Wedding
at the Vale Royal Barn, Fenton, MI
I am so excited to share the images from Emily and Jordan’s amazing wedding day because their whole celebration from their first look to the decor was out of this world gorgeous! Not only are Emily and Jordan just laid-back, funny, and kind, but they are both very adventurous! You see, their wedding day started off with sunshine and clear skies, but shortly after they shared their First Look, some dark clouds rolled in and it started to pour!
Thankfully, we were able to continue taking romantic portraits thanks to a super cute covered bridge on the property. You can't tell from the photos, but the wind was really blowing and the rain was coming down hard! We ended up making a mad dash back to the main house just before it started to hail!
Emily and Jordan were SUCH great troopers, though, and trusted me the entire time and were up for all the portrait opportunities I suggested! The sun magically returned just in time for their outdoor ceremony, but as soon as we finished family portraits the temperature dropped and it wasn't long before we were all watching the SNOW fall! Emily and her family did a fantastic job with their wedding decor, and I loved discovering all the little details that seemed to blend fall, football, and a cinderella fairytale together perfectly!
Emily & Jordan’s joy and love was so warm and not one person, not one guest there let the cold get to them and even though most danced the night away with coats and gloves on, that dance floor was packed! Their wedding was bittersweet because it was the last one of our 2018 season, but it has been the perfect end to an amazing year!
